Region VIII- Caravans
Our Caravans
Region VIII is currently home to Ben Ziri Caravan No. 218, based at Mission San Luis Rey in Oceanside, California. Originally founded in 1976, Ben Ziri later became the consolidated Caravan for members throughout California, helping preserve and strengthen the Order’s presence across the state.
Today, Ben Ziri includes members from communities throughout California, Oregon and Washington; but we are preparing for a new period of growth. Region VIII is working to welcome new members and establish additional Caravans across the states we serve.

Could Your Community Be Our Next Caravan?
When there is no Caravan in your local area, Catholics who wish to participate in the charitable, historical, and social mission of the Order of Alhambra are encouraged to consider forming a new one.
Region VIII’s Supreme Director will help guide you through the process, answer your questions, and assist in identifying other interested Catholics in your community. The Supreme Director will also work with the appropriate leaders of the Order as the proposed Caravan completes the necessary requirements and seeks approval from the Supreme Commander.
